Halfords is a British retailer specializing in automotive, leisure and cycling products. The company has over 400 retail stores across the UK and Ireland, as well as an online store.
The company wanted a look and feel for a summer motoring campaign that was adopted as the general look and feel for the brand website.
Keep on Motoring for less.
I wanted the posters to really encapsulate motoring, so I created a tarmac texture for the background of the posters and combined that with bold typography in a gradient of dark orange to yellow, to 'warm up' the Halfords orange. We chose a range of everyday motoring objects/parts that were retouched and made to interact with the typography in a relevant way.
We completed a number of outdoor and InStore POS executions, and further developed the campaign for Winter using weather effects to differentiate from Summer.
